CCC undergoes PACUCOA Accreditation Visit for PACUCOA Level 2

 

In pursuit of quality and excellent education, CCC once again submitted for voluntary accreditation with Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) for PACUCOA Level 2 Accreditation last November 26-27, 2014. The Grade School, High School, Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (BSED), Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) Programs were submitted for accreditation.

Eight (8) Accreditors were sent by the PACUCOA to evaluate the Grade School, High School, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor in Secondary Education (BSED) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS). The accreditors were: Dr. Ferdinand Somido – Chairman, Philosophy and Objectives, Organization and Administration; Dr. Liwayway Dapito - Faculty, Instruction, Laboratories (Elementary and Secondary Education), Mr. Erwin Quendangan - Student Services & Social Orientation, Community Development, Dr. Roel Asi - Faculty, Instruction, Laboratories, Ms. Ma. Theresa Borebor – Faculty, Instruction, Laboratories (Computer Science), Dr. Veneranda Sernande - Library, and Engr. Ricky Bustamante - Physical Plant and Facilities, Research (Education and Computer Science).

The two-day visit comprised of evaluation of documents, interview with students, faculty members and key administrators, ocular visit of school buildings and facilities in support of the quality delivery services of CCC. After the two-day evaluation, the six-member PACUCOA visiting team met with the College administrators to discuss the results of evaluation and the key points needed to be accomplished for PACUCOA Level 2 Status.
